JTC has awarded the concept and price tender to build, own and operate a co-living development at one-north to Ascott Residence Trust (Ascott Reit).

Four bids were received for the tender. The tenderers were evaluated based on their proposed concept, and the tender price. The concept proposal includes i) the design concept, ii) the community building programming, and iii) the general building requirements, including architecture, urban design, sustainability and energy efficiency.

To be named “lyf one-north Singapore” under The Ascott Limited’s co-living brand, “lyf”, the development will be located at the heart of one-north, a vibrant work-live-play-learn research and business park master-planned and master-developed by JTC. The co-living development is targeted at professionals and researchers from corporates; entrepreneurs from LaunchPad @ one-north; and students from INSEAD and ESSEC Business School. lyf one-north Singapore will be situated at one-north’s Nepal Hill, a talent development hub which houses ESSEC Business School and Unilever Four Acres Singapore.

This project enhances the suite of accommodation options available in one-north, such as the black-and-white bungalows and walk-up apartments at Wessex, condominiums at one-north Residences and The Rochester, serviced apartments and hotels at Citadines Fusionopolis Singapore, Park Avenue Rochester and the upcoming Mixed-use Executive Centre, and live-work concept development at Galaxis Worklofts.

lyf one-north Singapore will foster a vibrant and collaborative community with activities and events held at the premises throughout the year, including social, wellness, business and self-improvement programmes for one-northers. This will also complement JTC’s community building initiatives across one-north, such as the monthly Fantastic Fridays @ one-north and annual events like the one-north Run and Car-Free Sunday SG @ one-north.
