 I chose to do my internship at JTC as I wanted to see the tangible results of my work.

Contrary to the misconception that internships are mostly mundane tasks, I was involved in the real work from the get-go! I took part and even led discussions with our prospects and companies. I liaised directly with C-suite executives from some of the largest medical technology companies in the world. I also learnt to curate specific marketing proposals for the sector. While that comes with a lot of responsibility, it spoke volumes about the amount of ownership entrusted in the interns.

My internship happened during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was no less engaging!

There were virtual get-together sessions for the interns, and we bonded over various activities! Through site visits to JTC developments such as MedTech Hub, JTC Space @ Tuas and JTC Logistics Hub @Gul, I also familiarized myself with JTC products.

Do you need a real estate degree to join JTC or excel in the job?

The answer is no! My colleagues and I come from different backgrounds, and these helped to bring in new perspectives to our everyday work.
